Pe multe bileţele au fost scrise mesaje de susţinere a imigranţilor sau care ironizau ideea lui Tump de a construi un zid de-a lungul graniţei dintre Statele Unite şi Mexic, pentru care ar trebui să plătească statul mexican, transmite Reuters, prelută de Mediafax.
"Un zid mai bun", scria pe un bileţel.
"Acesta este zidul pe care îl poate construi dragostea", scrie pe un alt bileţel.
"Ultimele zile au fost foarte stresante şi am vrut să ofer oamenilor şansa de a se implica în problemă într-o manieră uşoară", a scris Matthew "Levee" Chavez, căruia îi aparţine ideea, în revista Quartz.
Toată lumea poate lipi un bileţel, şi peste 10.000 de persoane au făcut-o, a scris Chavez pe Instagram.
Mesajele scrise pe bileţele sugerează diferite abordări ale problemei. Pe unele dintre ele scrie "Votaţi în 2018" şi "Voi face ceea ce ţine de mine pentru a schimba asta".
Atitudinea sfidătoare exprimată în aceste bileţele este mesajul pe care îl transmit locuitorii oraşului New York, a declarat Caitlin Cherry, în vârstă de 28 de ani. "Mă bucur că oamenii care trec pe aici pot vedea că nu toţi americaii vor asta", a mai spus ea.
